How are plastic bottles turned into a microfiber beach towel?

RPET fabric is a revolutionary type of eco-friendly recycled fabric with its yarn made from plastic bottles, so it’s also known as ‘recycled plastic bottle’ or RPET fabric. The best part is that it is an enviro-green fabric, 100% made from the waste of plastic bottles, how incredible is that? Thus, the low-carbon nature of RPET microfiber has created a new talking point in the field of fabric and eco innovative towel products.

RPET fabric uses recycled green fiber materials, they are recovered from PET bottle recycling, which in simple terms are the plastic water bottles we see floating in large dumps in our seas. Our factory smashes the recycled plastic bottles into very small pieces, from there they are processed into spinning that creates a very special loop-less fabric which allows the towels to be sand repellant, quick drying and smell proof. One of our favourite things about our RPET microfiber is that it also drastically reduces carbon dioxide emissions. So, when we talk about being the leader in eco microfiber beach towels we really can shout it from the roof tops as it saves 80% of energy compared to the other polyester fibers that are used by some other microfiber towel brands.
